Raksha Bandhan: A Bond Beyond Borders
This Raksha Bandhan, students of Thakur Bhagwanidevi Musafir Public School (TBMPS) turned the festival of love and protection into a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s brave soldiers. Under the guidance of Principal Mrs Savita Kukreti, HM & PRO Mrs Seema Prasad, and the teaching staff, students lovingly prepared handmade Rakhis and greeting cards for the personnel of the 10th Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Srinagar. The initiative gave the students an opportunity to express their gratitude towards the soldiers who dedicate their lives to protecting the nation. The handmade Rakhis, created with care and affection, carried messages of respect, gratitude, brotherhood and patriotism. A particularly memorable moment was witnessing the Rakhis made by the students being tied on the wrists of the brave soldiers. For the young learners, the experience was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices and responsibilities carried by those serving the country. The celebration also helped students understand that Raksha Bandhan extends beyond the traditional bond between brothers and sisters. It can also be a celebration of gratitude towards those who protect and safeguard our nation. Through this initiative, TBMPS sought to instill in its students the values of compassion, respect, patriotism and service. A small Rakhi from little hands, carrying a big salute from grateful hearts.
A Proud Musical Achievement for TBMPS
Our talented TBMPS participants proudly represented the school at the Inter-School Singing Competition and delivered a wonderful performance. Their dedication, confidence and passion for music earned them the Third Prize. This achievement is a testament to their hard work, teamwork and musical talent. 80th Independence Day
Thakur Bhagwanidevi Musafir Public School (TBMPS) celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2026 with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The celebration highlighted the importance of patriotism, unity and love for the nation, with students actively participating in the programme. The event featured energetic dance performances, soulful patriotic songs and inspiring speeches, showcasing the talent and confidence of our young learners. The programme was proudly anchored by our very own students, adding a special touch of student leadership to the celebration. We were honoured to have Shri Sagar Singh Sir, Management Representative, as the Chief Guest for the occasion. The pyramid formation by our Secondary students was the main highlight of the celebration, symbolising strength, unity, discipline and collective spirit. The celebration concluded with a strong sense of pride and patriotism, reminding everyone that the spirit of India lives in its young generation. Jai Hind!

Our Primary students celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Dressed proudly in the tricolour—saffron, white and green, our young learners added vibrancy to the celebrations. Our Pre-Primary little ones celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with immense joy and enthusiasm. Dressed beautifully in the tricolour—saffron, white and green, our tiny tots looked adorable as they proudly showcased their love for the nation. Their smiles, spirit and vibrant tricolour attire beautifully reflected the pride, unity and patriotic spirit of India. ❤️🤍💚 Jai Hind!✨
